Yeah, here’s a thought, don’t take the responsibility of caring for another life when you hafta worry about your own all the time. Pets have vet bills, that money is also needed for normal bills, rent, groceries, blah blah blah blah….
I admire Cleo’s tenacity. I’m not sure I could bring myself to press my eyeballs up against a pane of glass. I’m not even sure if it’s physically possible.
I do this comic for free, but if you like it and have a little extra to throw my way, I'd very much appreciate it.

Oh Cleo, I understand.
I’m on Cleo’s side, even if it isn’t feasible! PUPPY! GET THE SHAR-PEI! DOOOO IIIIIIT!
(Oh god, I’m trying to communicate with fictional characters now. Either I’m really attached to them or I’m just insane.)
The solution is: Get a cat.
So that it can loathe them, shed everywhere, and plot to kill the girls in their sleep? Yeah, Cleo should just wait til next semester and get a puppy.
Nonsense. So they can have clean, classy, quiet animal instead of an annoying one that doesn’t know well enough to bury its own shit.

Pets and college = no good
Here’s another thought:
Don’t get pets from pet stores.
Always find a reputable shelter or breeder in your area.
This has been a public service announcement from bluhbluhbluh
…unless Cleo is looking through the window into a reputable shelter/breeder’s home.
i would like to see an omni cameo please
your friend,
Mark
Try a beta. Much cheaper and very low maintenance.
Sadly, they are not as cuddly.

I WANT Cleo to have the puppy now!
